Welcome to the Exclusive Panchachuli UK Online Store

Like most forward thinking businesses today Panchachuli UK has social and ecological principals at the very heart of its business practice. With a firm commitment to Ethical Fashion, here is what it means to us at Panchachuli to be ethical:

* Traded Fairly - from the harvesting of materials to manufacture of products - the Panchachuli Women Weavers Co-operative is a social enterprise which owns and manages the company.

* Sustainable - Fabrics and processes which are sustainable and non exploitative. 100% wool is easily recyclable and a natural product, apart from its many other benefits. Our paper and packaging comes from FSC managed sources and is 100% recycled.

* Handicraft Revival - of artisan skills with long term benefit to the local community with the establishment of further training and co-operatives.

* Non-Toxic - Our fabric dyes are either ISO/AZO free or vegetable dyed from local plants, berries bark or flowers. We aim to use water based dyes for all printing processes.

* Ethical Banking - We bank with Triodos Bank which is committed to supporting sustainable organisations as a way to change the world for the better.

* We are working towards accreditation with various organisations, including IFAT and UNESCO among others

* We will continue to update and improve our business as and when necessary as part of our commitment to ethical practice.
